New Health and Wellness Services for Jitterbug Users

New Health and Wellness Services for Jitterbug (News - Alert) Users

Great call, creators of the Jitterbug cell phone, announced two new additions to their portfolio of health and wellness products.

The first new Jitterbug service, called Medication Reminder, sends subscribers a friendly phone call to remind them to take their physician prescribed medications. The service offers up to 16 medication reminders per day, and also provides tools for tracking adherence and reminds users when to order refills. The second addition to the service offerings is called Check-In Call Service. Elderly, home-bound or any loved one that needs some monitoring receives a daily check in phone call. If the person needs assistance, notification is sent to a list of designated contacts. Jitterbug’s “MyLife” representatives help with setting up the service.

Jitterbug gained popularity since coming to market in 2007 as a simple user-friendly cell phone with features such handsets with large, backlit buttons, and optional services like LiveNurse and Wellness Calls. More information about Jitterbug, Medication Reminder and Check-In Call Service can be found at www.jitterbug.com. Read the full press release here.
